Yes, indeed. Those curt "Yes" or "No" are unpleasant replies.

Others that hurt are when you agree to something that they ask for, and they don't even have the courtesy to thank you.

Or you've been discussing something, and eventually when it was done, you don't get updated. And all the while you think it couldn't be done. Until you ask.

Butting Ahead, Mindlessly

Butt ahead
Tracking and chasing for the process to progress

Yet with no shrewdness
On what the road blocks were

Offended even to show what happened
Meant to find the road blocks
To learn for smoother journey next time

Butting ahead,  mindlessly

They Ask, But They Don't Update

Problems they bring
Asking for solutions

Advice one dispenses
Things to check

Issue put aside
Waiting for update

Time goes by
One day chancing upon the subject again
Ask then for update

Only then came the update
Without apology on the lateness

More than once
It has happened

Send you the problem
But didn't update when resolved

Such thoroughness

That it'd pay correctly

Now it's not human
But the algorithm!

What can we trust?
