BD

A meeting to spring a surprise
Minions gathered
Tis the boss' birthday

A cake
Good wishes

Minions don't get it
No such surprises for them

Flashback
I too had such parties
For me
And me for staff
Celebrating each other's birthdays

Those were the days
No more now

Kudos to the unionists who worked so hard.  But not all are like that.

Been paying the membership fee for years.
Yet when  "retrenched"

union didn't detect it and didn't even ask when designation changed...
the power of the public organisation!
And on the other hand,  telling private sector that can't retire staff before retirement age ...

MC and other leave

What's a gauge for organisation becomes their entitlement.
Even parent or family care. One staff tells me he has x days of family care leave, so he's taking them!
