Butterflies that morph

A more solid one, we'd thought;
one coming in with eyes wide open, we'd thought;
one very clear of what's expected, we'd thought.

We'd thought.

Thoughts, we've found, can be far from reality.

A good start, that continued well enough.
Then a change of players.
Like a change of the type of ingredients,
affecting the taste of the cooking.

From Hyde to Jekyll, and back again.
Like a butterfly, flitting from one end to another end of the spectrum.
Like a butterfly, morphing one mood to another;
from earnestness to disregard.
Save the Hyde, bury the Jekyll.

Little butterfly,

fly, fly.

Remember the Hyde, forget the Jekyll.

A Home or a Hotel

A Home or a Hotel, we wonder.
When people come and go,
and we know only in the newsletter.
Or earlier, if fortunate enough to hear
from those close to the gods.
Key additions come,
and none the wiser are we.
A Team or not are we,
not knowing what's happening,
a chasm between the floors.

Healing Needed; Time to Unite

Voices that won't go away,

voices of dissent,

voices of dispute,

voices that divide.

After the battle,

time to heal the wounds,

time to rebuild,

time to unite.

Why waste the energy in dividing.

Why not channel the energy to resolve and unite.

And face the challenges ahead.

Glorious Sun

May the Sun continue to rise and set, gloriously, next Sunday, and continue its daily cycle.

Food harmony

No curry,

but a plate of noodles,

prawns, fish, eggs

co-existing harmoniously with the noodles,

and the parsley,

all with their own aroma and taste,

blending peacefully with each other.

An Unlikely Rose

It bloomed again, even if only one rose, and a tiny one at that.

A plant grown scrawny and thin, given up as a barren plant.

Yet ...
...it bloomed again, after the previous rose, another small one.

There be a lesson here?

Perhaps it's telling us not to give up?

Perhpas it's telling us there's always hope?

Perhaps it's telling us there can be harvest as long as we put in the efforts?

Perhaps.
