fatique

Fatique

f-a-t-i-q-u-e

Tired, lack of energy.

One feels the energy draining off,

and limbs go limp

just at the word.

Passion and enthusiasm are deflated

flatter than a burst balloon.

Fatique.

An energiser, a perk-me-up,

a word of encouragement,

a word of appreciation,

does wonders to inject energy,

to boost the enthusiasm,

and restore the passion.

As we travel the road,

there are ups and downs, twists and turns,

unappreciative clouds that threaten

with thunder and torrents of rain

that throw one down the valley of despair,

fatiqued and despondent, drained of fighting spirit.

Just say Yes - the path of least resistance

and of certain rewards.
