Not Christmas, not new year,
but August.
August, month of our National Day.
Twinkle, twinkle , many lights.
Not Orchard Road, not Marina Square,
but the humble heartlands.
These be lights, sparkling and shining for you and me;
Lights outside the food centre cum market
at Jalan Jurong Kechil road.
