Tis New Year's Eve and TV is running programme after programme on looking back at 2010.
From volcano ash to snow (lots of it),
air travel much disrupted.
(Overnight bags to be equipped with change of clothes in future.)
Bombs accidentially going off; real bomb attacks,
all killing holiday cheer in the countries concerned.
A mountain climb, an adventure, young man's life, so precious yet lost.
How sad and heartbrokened the parents.
Crime, even if victim-less, raking havoc in young man's life,
from the height of scholarship to the troughs of disgrace,
even having to pay damages, an education disrupted.
How heartbrokened the parents must be.
All these, happening around us.
Our hearts feel for them.
Thankful we are for the blessings we have,
thankful we are for those around us - our family, friends and life.
