friend and mentors

These two days, it's as if the dementors have been kept at bay.

A friend/colleague from the past,
we met up for good old hearty conversation.
A friend/mentor since long before time,
we chatted, like old times.

Familiar voices, familiar viewpoints,
a comfort indeed.

And the team,
cheerful and thinking,
brainstorming and writing proposals
- it's like seeing a bean sprout grow up and up,
strong and resilient.
A comfort indeed; a camaraderie warm
like freshly baked waffles!

So Patronus!
The deer, the doe, the stags, even the phoenix, appear.
