It was one of the earlier condominiums to be built. Many flocked to view the showflats, though some of us didn't have the means to purchase even the smallest unit.
It was the Pearlbank condo next to Outram Park. Now it looks nondescript, though standing tall next to the Pearl's Hill. In its heyday, it was much sought after. Perhaps some still value it for its central location.
The unit that we saw was a split-level one - at that time, a new concept. There was a particular corner between the split levels that would have done nicely as a cosy corner, one to snuggle up to in a sofa with a good book.
Interesting how (housing) dreams evolve over the years.
