the l o n g wait before the Run

It was a queue to collect the Race Pack for the Nike Run next Sunday. The queue was about tw0-hour long in the morning. We went back in the afternoon - the queue was still extremely long, snaking from the taxi stand at Clarke Quay/Liang Court all the way into the shelter (where the flea market used to be), then back and all the way down, towards the river, then back to the stands where the collection points were.

It was a very very long wait indeed, about three and a half hours in all. Thank goodness for the shelter above, as it was raining cats and dogs.

How efficient the organisation - so much problem just for collection of a Race Pack.
