Many minds, many voices,
some at the frontline, some backstage
yet all working together
as if of one mind,
as if of one heart.
So heartening to see
those of different work units,
coming together, cohesively,
working for the same goal
of making the event a success.

One People, One Nation
The mind turns to another place, nearby.
A rooftop garden, warmly decorated with palms from across the waters,
wooden chairs and green carpets.
All done under the charge of one,
who recently passed on.
May she, like all other deserving beings, rest in peace.
